As promised, I will tell and show you about the mountains. Moreover, last year I didn’t show a single photo from the mountains, although I really liked it there. I'm correcting myself.

If you are in Kabardinka and want to go on a non-extreme excursion to the mountains, I will recommend you one person - Akhmed (tel. 8-918-47-03-118). I’ve been with him in the mountains twice already: the car has good tires, so safety is guaranteed, it doesn’t drive recklessly and warns and dissuades the faint-hearted during “heartbreaking” stunts, it doesn’t take unnecessary risks, so you can safely drive with children!

So, I'll start with Sorcerer Mountain. Legend says that there lived a Sorcerer and he had three daughters. Of course he was a tyrant and despot. His daughters (Vera, Nadezhda and Lyubov) fell in love with mere mortals and knew that their father would not give them the go-ahead for the wedding and would not approve of their choice. And then they decided to run away. They jumped into the sea and swam to the other side of the bay. The sorcerer noticed the escape, looked out the window and saw his daughters running away, got angry and bewitched them - turned them into three mountains. And then, out of grief, he turned himself into a mountain: so they stand opposite each other, forming the edges of the bay (the first photo is the Sorcerer Mountain, the second is the enchanted sisters).

At the request of one passenger, we were taken to a distant part of the mountains, where a small waterfall flows. It’s impossible to get to it by car, so we disembarked and walked a little along a mountain stream, and in some places we had to walk straight along the river.

We then barely got out of this place, because... It had rained the day before and the “road” was washed out. We got through on the third or fourth attempt, but the car got stuck behind us.

I didn’t go swimming, I just walked with Vika along a mountain stream barefoot.

There is a place around the “Bowl”: you can eat there, there is a bar, a bathhouse... At that time the bathhouse was not yet functioning, and the diner was just opening, but we still ate pilaf.

Then we passed the place where last year we crossed a mountain river. At first we moved normally. Then Ahmed dropped me off with a camera and I had to photograph the whole extravaganza of splashes flying in different directions from the car. And Vika and her dad had to enjoy the experience. But... the car hit a hole with its wheel and the spray flew out in a completely different way - it was a whole fountain, and directed deep into the car:

And the result: the car is covered in water, the husband and daughter are wet from head to toe. Akhmed apologized for a long time, still could not calm down that this had happened, and even made Vika a hat out of burdock.

We arrived at the holy spring. There seems to be silvered water flowing there. They put everything in containers to drink later.

A tied raccoon sits right there. He was so hungry, the girls fed him. You can take pictures with him (for money).

Opposite there is a tree with an abundant root system. It's hard to climb, but last year mine climbed

Next place and next legend. The tree that was struck by lightning caught fire, almost the entire bottom was burned out. And then, a few years later, the tree came to life and turned green. Since then, it has become customary to come to him, go into the damaged trunk and make a wish. They say that if you forgive not material goods, then everything will be fulfilled.

Green tunnel near this tree

Now we go to Mount Mad. According to legend, the lovers ran away from their parents, who forbade them to marry. The fugitives were surrounded and they had to climb the mountain. The parents shouted: crazy people, come down! But they climbed higher and higher, until in the end they fell off and flew head over heels down to the foot...

In fact, it is very beautiful there. We didn’t climb the mountain itself, but in a certain area there is a flat area where you can collect thyme and sage. Let's admire the beauty:

And at the bottom of the mountain there is a pillar (made by local residents)

There are signs to Moscow, Berlin and other cities. And behind the pillar there is a mountain on which there are two loops of roads. Extreme athletes ride along a large loop. The road up is not so scary, but down is a very gentle descent and it seems that the car is about to break loose and fly head over heels. We weren't even planning on doing the big loop. But last year Ahmed persuaded me to pay a small fee. Moreover, Vika and her dad were sitting in front and holding on tightly, and Akhmed put me between the rear seats. Eh, it went like a breeze! At first it was wildly scary, and then - just an amazing feeling of delight mixed with fear, in short, the adrenaline rushed for several years to come. This year he didn’t take us to the loop.

And the last resting place is the former water pumping station on Mount Mad. Also a very beautiful place. Episodes of the first and second series of the film Storm Gates were filmed here.

Just photos of vegetation at different stages of the mountains

Well, that's it, end of the journey! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Next time I will show you a lot of photos from the Old Park.

Kabardinka is a Krasnodar village located 12 kilometers from Gelendzhik on the shore of Tsemes Bay. Archaeologists have found the remains of an ancient Greek settlement in these places. The resort conditions and attractions of Kabardinka attract many tourists every year.

Brief history of Kabardinka

During the war for the Caucasus in the 1800s, Russia gained a foothold on the shores of Black Sea. For this purpose, a network of fortifications is being built on the coast. And on the site of Kabardinka in 1836 a prison was built. The settlement gets its name in honor of the province of Kabarda, one of the first to fall under the banner of the Russian Empire. Armenians and Greeks, refugees from Turkey, developed the empty lands of the Black Sea region. Kabardinka did not escape this either. The mountain water of the Doob River generously supplied the residents with tasty water. In Soviet times, collective farmers grew tobacco and delicious grapes in the fields.

During the Great Patriotic War, the village became a front line. Zubkov's naval battery destroyed the enemy fleet with its fire Tsemes Bay and provided support to Malaya Zemlya.

By 1960, the village had practically been restored. It was decided to use the surrounding area for children's recreation. Pioneer camps and children's boarding houses were opened.

Historical monuments and attractions of Kabardinka

The history of this settlement is quite deep. Here you can not only swim in clear sea water, but also visit an Orthodox shrine.

Church of St. Panteleimon

The Greeks, fleeing from the Turkish Janissaries, took with them a rare icon of the young doctor Panteleimon. In 1875, construction began on the temple of this saint. The temple of rare beauty quickly became a place visited by pilgrims.

In 1937 the church was destroyed. However, the icon was saved. In 1994, work began on restoring the church. The holy miraculous icon found its home again.

Battery Zubkov

A memorial dedicated to the defenders of the village - sailors and artillerymen. In operation since 1975.

old park

An extraordinary tourist site that many vacationers on the Black Sea coast strive to visit. By 2007, the artist Alekseev placed copies or similarities of many architectural monuments of the world in the park.

Rotunda in the Old Park. Author: EKAOBU, photoshare.ru

There is a pyramid and an Egyptian sphinx, an ancient Greek temple, a functioning aqueduct similar to the Roman one, the House of the East, and a Japanese corner. By visiting the park, you can practically travel around the world.

House of the Peoples of the Caucasus

A separate ethno-museum in the park, telling about the life and culture of the multinational population of the region.

City of Kuban masters

Fair of products of local craftswomen, blacksmiths, gunsmiths. Concerts, exhibitions, and master classes are held.

Glass workshop

The largest museum of its kind. The gallery halls display crystal products from Russian factories, glass figurines of heroes from fairy tales and famous cartoons, and the history of glassblowing.

At the master class, you can try to make your own product, which will become an unusual souvenir.

Oceanarium and exoterrarium

Small cozy rooms will introduce you to beautiful fish, inhabitants of the southern seas, as well as reptiles - small crocodiles and large spiders.

Unusual and delicious travel

Clean mountain water allows you to breed and maintain fish farms. This will interest fishing lovers.

"Castal font"

Restaurant with trout farm. You can simply catch fish and take it with you, or order a delicious dish from your catch, which will be prepared by experienced craftsmen.

While the fish is cooking, you can walk around the garden and admire the decorative buildings with a castle in the center.

"Cossack kuren"

It is located among streams and gardens with fish farms, where trout and sterlet are found, in which, as already mentioned, you can catch the fish you like. While the food is being prepared, it is interesting to learn the history of the Krasnodar Cossacks. The style of the tavern was created to resemble a Cossack farm in the mid-18th century. Children will especially enjoy the poultry yard with colorful chickens, proud turkeys, and arrogant geese.

Conclusion

In addition to the proposed recreation options, Kabardinka can also please extreme sports enthusiasts. ATV rides and jeeping along the mountain roads of the Markotkh Range will give daredevils an unforgettable experience.

In August 2017, Maria and Alexander with their daughter Nadezhda were vacationing in the village (previously it was an urban village) of Kabardinka, Gelendzhik district, Krasnodar region.

Below are their impressions of the holiday, an assessment of the living conditions, food and infrastructure of the village, as well as tips and secrets, knowledge of which will help you plan a family holiday economically.

Find out more about what to see in Kabardinka and where to take your child in the review of the main ones. And for those who have not yet decided whether it is worth going here, here are the pros and cons of various Black Sea resorts for families with children.

Kabardinka is located very close to Gelendzhik - perhaps it will be useful to you (also based on personal experience), as well as about.

I have known Kabardinka for a long time: I vacationed there with my mother from 13 to 19 years old. Then I went with my husband to other places, but I definitely wanted to show my daughter the resort, which, it seems, “grew” with me.

Coming to Kabardinka from 2000 to 2006, I noticed how the beach was expanding, how the embankment was lengthening, how home mini-hotels were growing, how the entertainment infrastructure was developing. Every year the village surprised and delighted with new things.

In 2016, I didn’t recognize my beloved Kabardinka. It has developed to the level of a classy resort. Every day we discovered something new in a familiar place.

Season and climate: when is the best time to travel with children?

Kabardinka is decorated with distant blue mountains. It is located on the shore of Tsemes Bay, and the water in the bay heats up early and does not cool down for a long time.

You can relax in Kabardinka in any summer month, late spring and early autumn. It is quite warm there from mid-May (up to 26 degrees) until the 20th of September (24 degrees). Comfortable water temperatures (up to 26 degrees) and air temperatures (up to 31 degrees) for children are observed in August.

Those who vacationed in October claim that it was possible to swim in the sea even at this time of year. The village is protected from the winds by a cape, so there are no strong storms there, although when there are waves at sea, swimming is not recommended.

But the cleanest sea is in late May-early June, so it’s better to go with very young children at this time.

According to mothers, children get sick less when they arrive at the seaside before the start of the high season, however June is the rainiest month this month. This should be taken into account when choosing clothes for walking and have a compact umbrella with you. True, the rains are warm and short-lived, so they do not spoil the holiday at all.

Accommodation options: boarding houses, hotels, guest houses

You can relax in Kabardinka quite inexpensively, or you can organize a luxurious vacation.

We stayed in the home mini-hotel “Summer Cool” on Mira Street. Rooms range from ultra-economical (there are two beds in the room, a table, a hanger, a toilet and a shower in the yard, from 600 rubles) to the “luxury” level with a bathroom in the room, separate beds, a wardrobe, a TV, air conditioning, a table, chairs and a clothes dryer, from 2500 rubles).

Of course, this “luxury” can be called that specifically in the home mini-hotel sector. In the courtyard there are comfortable benches, lush green spaces, kitchens with stoves, tables, chairs and a full set of dishes (many women comfortably cooked borscht and baked pancakes for their families).

Food: cafes, shops, market

It is simply impossible to remain hungry in Kabardinka. Products for every taste and budget can be bought everywhere. We went to the Magnit store, where there were long lines, and to a tiny nameless store on Novaya Street not far from the house where we lived. In stores they bought bread, drinking water, and semi-finished breakfast products: porridge, sausages and instant noodles. We bought baby purees in soft packaging for our daughter.

The village has an excellent market with a wide selection of vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs, spices, dried fruits, honey, and teas. There we bought various souvenirs in the form of nuts and pine cones in honey, teas with fragrant herbs, sweets such as Turkish delight, churchkhela (who doesn’t know - these are nuts strung on a hard thread in congealed boiled grape juice, an incredibly tasty thing).

In addition, in the alleys and small streets located far from the beach near the gates, the owners display their own products and fruits and vegetables from their own gardens and gardens. There you can buy homemade wine and other alcoholic drinks, different types of honey, handicrafts: crafts and souvenirs made from shells and stones, beads, children's toys, pictures and the like.

Cafes and canteens are located almost throughout the village. On the coast overlooking the sea you can have a beautiful dinner while listening to “live music”, average bill 1000 rubles per person. We ate dinner mostly at home, buying shish kebab by weight, lula kebab or other take-out food.

You can dine on three courses (first course, meat or fish with side dish, salad and drink) in numerous canteens. Price from 400 to 700 per person, The child can be asked to put half a portion for half the price.

We had breakfast at home with semi-finished products or tea with cookies.

Beach

There is only one beach in the village - the central one. The beaches of children's health camps are separated by symbolic ropes, but vacationers settle there too, leaving only while their children are swimming. About half an hour away there is a “wild beach”, we haven’t been there, I can’t say anything about it.

The central beach is very well maintained, clean, with large pebbles. Umbrellas, sunbeds, trestle beds are rented, cold drinks, ice cream, boiled corn and boiled crayfish are sold, churchkhela, pies, belyashi and other food are sold.

Bins are installed along the perimeter of the beach and cleanliness is maintained. The temperature of water and air, a warning about the ban on smoking are constantly announced over the loudspeaker, services are briefly covered: rental of catamarans, jet skis, parachute jumping, glider flights, banana and tablet rides, boat trips.

The density of vacationers is always consistently high, but there is enough space for everyone. The water near the shore is a bit dirty, further away it is cleaner. A significant drawback for holidays with children is the sharp slope of the bottom: a step forward is 10 centimeters deeper. Children without armbands and inflatables do not swim, because they are already a meter from the shore with water in their heads.

Lifeguards regularly patrol the water area, returning swimmers from distant buoys.

Leisure

The road to the beach runs through a shady alley with tall old pine trees. Needles and leaves are regularly swept away. The trash cans are emptied as they are filled; there are no spontaneous landfills anywhere.

My daughter really enjoyed walking along this alley. There are numerous statues, fountains, and flower bowls of unusual shapes installed on it. Despite her young age, she happily posed next to them.

We went to the “upside down house”, where everything is really upside down. We visited an exhibition of Cossack art (my daughter really liked the outfits of the “Cossack women” who greeted us behind the fence).

We visited the old park - a luxurious garden with amazing buildings, magnificent fountains and various green spaces. My daughter ran along the bridges and looked at the mosaic tiles.

In Kabardinka there is a huge children's playground where you can play for free. There is also a paid platform. There aren't many children there and my daughter didn't want to go there.

We visited a crocodile farm and a dinosaur park. Of course, the ticket prices are very high - 400 rubles per adult and 200 per child, but the impressions were favorable.

There are many kiosks in the village selling excursions. Excursions are conducted around the Gelendzhik region, as well as Sochi, Anapa, Abrau Durso and even Abkhazia.

We were unpleasantly surprised by drug prices and other assortment of pharmacies.

I forgot the hormonal medication I needed at home and had to buy it in Kabardinka. At home (in Rostov-on-Don) I paid about 900 rubles for it, but at the resort the price range was from 1,500 to 3,000 rubles.

Children's antipyretic, antiviral and enterosorbents are sold at prices one and a half to three times higher than in Rostov.

Drinking water in Kabardinka is more expensive. We threw a pack of six five-liter plastic bottles of water into the trunk. Fuel is also sold at inflated prices. We took two cans of gasoline with us just in case. Before leaving Kabardinka, we refueled from one canister, saving about a third of the cost.

To travel cheaply and without compromising the quality of your vacation, you need to do a few simple things (some are suitable for those who travel to Kabardinka by car):

  • Collect a first aid kit at home (antipyretic, antiviral, enterosorbents, medications for diarrhea, vomiting and constipation, hemostatic agents, dressings; for children, medications should be in a form convenient for administration - in syrup; suppositories and medications that require special storage conditions should not be taken).
  • Stock up on water for the trip. Do not give children milk, juices or other drinks while traveling; only give them clean, non-carbonated water.
  • Take simple foods for a snack: fruits, vegetables, bread. Exclude perishable foods, sweets, and fast food from your diet while on the road.

In general, you can relax in Kabardinka in an interesting and inexpensive way. Municipal authorities are making a lot of efforts for the dynamic development of the village. And the resort can hardly be called a village - rather a small well-groomed seaside town. We will definitely visit it again with my husband and daughter.

Prices in 2019 for the private sector and boarding houses in Kabardinka will not be high. In addition, you can look at the objects in the catalog on this page - they all work without intermediaries, directly with tourists.

The village consists of two parts. The main one is located in the valley and extends perpendicular to the coast. This is where most of the rented areas are located. The most expensive and well-equipped bases and sanatoriums are located along the coast along Cape Doob. The greatest distance of rental housing from the coastal zone is about 1 km. The rental price there will be the lowest.

How to get there

The village is located quite conveniently. It occupies part of the eastern coast of Tsemes Bay. The water area of the village is protected from open water by Cape Doob. The buildings themselves are located in a valley starting at the foothills of the Markotkh range. Kabardinka is approximately equidistant from Novorossiysk in the northwest and Gelendzhik in the southeast. Both cities are no more than 15 km away. This allows vacationers to reach their destination without any difficulties. People most often arrive in the village by rail, having bought a ticket to Novorossiysk, or by air, flying to Gelendzhik. There are many minibuses running from the railway station and airport to the village, or landlords organize a convenient transfer. You can also use any of the intercity bus routes running in the direction Novorossiysk - Adler from many Russian cities. All motor tourists come here along the M27 highway.

general information

Legally, the village is part of the Gelendzhik resort area, being one of the regional centers. The number of local residents does not exceed 7,500 people. One of the main areas of resort activity is the improvement of children's health. The local climate and coastal area are ideal for the youngest holidaymakers. The village is sometimes even unofficially called the “Children’s Republic”.

Kabardinka has the status of a family recreation area. There are much fewer noisy entertainment venues here than in neighboring resort towns. On the other hand, there is no shortage of quality service. On the coast there is one of the best architectural and landscape parks, there are several diving centers and much more.

The first settlers on the Kabardinka coast were the ancient Greeks. They arrived here back in the 7th century BC. The village became Russian territory after the end of the Caucasian War, and received its current name in 1869. The etymology of the name comes from the name of the Caucasian province of Kabarda, which was the first to recognize the power of the Russian Empire.

Things to do

When coming to Kabardinka on vacation, many people do not know that there are several interesting attractions directly in this small village. First of all, we recommend visiting the Old Park, located near the Central Beach along Mira Street. In this place, local sculptor Alekseev recreated a whole galaxy of architectural structures of various styles and eras. Medieval towers, a Greek temple, even a copy of the Cheops pyramid are available for free inspection by park visitors. At the foot of the Markotkh ridge on the eastern side of the village you can find the Kastal font - a complex that is a health center with a natural pond. They say that those who plunge into the font will not only become physically healthier, but will become rejuvenated and even more beautiful. Also, in the market square of the village, be sure to find the “Upside Down House”. The effect of inverted perception of simple things will amaze you.

Beaches

Kabardinka beach. Igor Arkhipov / Photobank Lori

The beaches of Kabardinka stretch along the entire coastline of the village, starting from Cape Doob, ending with Cape Penay, from where the Novorossiysk coast begins. Mostly all beaches are pebble. Sometimes there are artificially created sand layers. The width of the beaches is small and does not exceed 30m. The bottom relief is flat and without sharp changes. Many beaches formally have a departmental affiliation with one or another sanatorium or recreation center. But they are open. One of the most popular is the Central Village Beach, located at the very bend of the bay coastline. Wild beaches are concentrated at the southern tip along the federal highway.

Latest reviews about holidays in Kabardinka

An excellent guest house with simply amazing owners. The holiday was a great success! The rooms are comfortable, internet, shower, TV, parking in the yard. The sea is nearby, in general we were very pleased with our vacation. The children's playground is also in the yard, so we didn't have to worry about the child. So we recommend this guest house to everyone!!!

We had a family vacation in June. Very nice house, responsive and kind owners. Sergei met us and told us where everything was and how best to get there. Where are the products cheaper? Close proximity to the sea and shops. The weather was pleasant, the sea was clear as a tear, even on the first day we were greeted by a school of dolphins.
Sergey thank you very much for your hospitality. We will be planning to visit you next year. In my opinion, this is the best place for a holiday with children. At night there are no loud discos and noisy crowds.

In June 2019 we vacationed in Kabardinka. We stayed in a guest house on the street. Doobskoy, 20. The owner Nikolai met us at the station and drove us to the place (like others, this service is paid). A small two-story house is located on a quiet street. There are no construction sites nearby. The beach is a 10-minute walk along an asphalt road (not all streets in Kabardinka have asphalt). The magnet and the savings bank are also about 10 minutes away, but in the other direction. The attitude of the owners Ekaterina and Nikolai is very friendly and welcoming. They don't refuse help. Summer kitchen, courtyard, rooms - everything is kept in order and clean. There is parking. We stayed in a two-room suite on the second floor. The furniture is all intact, although not new. Air conditioners are working properly. The linen is clean. Large refrigerator in the room (single rooms have small refrigerators). The curtains are very thick, they made it easy to put the child to sleep during a quiet hour. There is Wi-Fi. In the bathroom there is a shower corner, a sink, a toilet - everything is in working order, there were no malfunctions, we did not experience any problems with water. Face towels were provided for each guest. In 13 days, linen was changed once, towels were changed twice, and cleaning was done once. The kitchen has dishes for common use, cupboards for food, and a microwave. For children, there is a small playground with a slide and swings in the yard. There were some minor inconveniences, but they did not spoil the overall impression. We did not have enough common table in the room to, for example, put mugs or fruits to have a snack together (but on the 2nd floor there is a terrace with tables, chairs and a sofa), there were not enough hooks for washcloths in the bathroom. And a kettle in the room would be a big plus. View from the window to the neighboring house. But overall we were very pleased with our stay at this guest house. We recommend it to everyone!
P.S. across the street they prepare delicious shish kebab and other dishes on the grill.

We just recently took a vacation. A very cozy guest house. Everywhere is clean, new furniture and excellent renovation. Nadezhda and her parents are wonderful people. We lived in rooms in a large building. The balcony has a good view of the sea and mountains. The description and photo on the site fully correspond to reality. For such a modest price, wonderful conditions. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we will definitely come back again. One small minus - there is no large refrigerator in the kitchen in the building. Otherwise everything is great.

A very cozy guest house with hospitable Comrade Larisa! The room is small, but with all amenities: bathroom, air conditioning, refrigerator, TV. There is a shared kitchen with a microwave and utensils needed for cooking. There is an iron and ironing board on the floor. On the territory there is an area with a barbecue, tables in the shade for breakfast/dinner in the fresh air (for 2 people or a larger group). The corner is beautifully decorated. Nearby there is Pyaterochka, Magnit, a vegetable market, a souvenir row, a grocery store, a cafe, and a canteen. The central beach is about 10 minutes walk. We were very pleased! Next time we will come back here)))

Summer ended last weekend and it got colder, but by Saturday it was back
It got warmer and the cobwebs flew. I thought Indian summer was over
last week, but it turned out that it had just begun. Yesterday we swam
and sunbathed. By three o'clock I was tired of sunbathing. I heard how big it is
the guy (apparently the coach) sent a herd of young guys (apparently athletic
camp) to the mountain. Told them that he was waiting for them at the examination room in half an hour

I thought that since the trained guys on foot would get there in
half an hour, then I can also go somewhere on a bicycle. And I went
on mountain. To another. There are many mountains around Kabardinka. From the south Cape Doob, from
north Makhotsky ridge. What is the name of the mountain, I haven’t found it anywhere yet
found. Only the peaks are indicated on the map, and not all, there are no names.
At least come up with them yourself. Everything is visible from our windows.

I was on Doobe about a month ago. Not at the top itself, but on the adjacent mountains.
I photographed the view of Kabardinka towards the North. Now it's time
take photographs towards the South.
The map shows only one road towards the Markhot ridge,
but in fact there are them here every five hundred meters along the road. Which
of them leads to the Kabardnsky pass, which is indicated on the map,
dont clear. I asked the lady I met and she replied that cards were also
I've never seen it. I went along the first path.
Each road leads to the ridge, each with its own special view. Photos
turned out bad. Against the sun. Everything is blurry, hazy and overexposed. A
I got good impressions. Beautiful. Interesting. And not far. Only
forty minutes from home - the top of a small mountain. And behind her is another. Necessary
Will, on occasion, explore the surrounding area. According to the map, the closest to ours
the house is marked with a peak of 250m.
It’s interesting that as you climb, Kabardinka itself becomes less and less visible. When the height
good enough to see the village and the bay
it turns out that those slides that have already been passed are piled on top of each other
friend and everyone is obscured.

Novorossiysk is much better visible and it is quite possible to see Gelendzhik.
About forty kilometers through the mountains directly - Abinsk, to which
The Novorossiysk highway is one hundred and fifty kilometers away. Paths, plateaus, climbs,
descents. When I went there on an excursion a year ago, they said that
the path through the mountains to Kabardinka was built, among other things, by exiles
Decembrists.

THANK YOU so much for the very useful information in the article. Everything is presented very clearly. It feels like a lot of work has been done to analyze the operation of the eBay store

    • Thank you and other regular readers of my blog. Without you, I would not be motivated enough to dedicate much time to maintaining this site. My brain is structured this way: I like to dig deep, systematize scattered data, try things that no one has done before or looked at from this angle. It’s a pity that our compatriots have no time for shopping on eBay because of the crisis in Russia. They buy from Aliexpress from China, since goods there are much cheaper (often at the expense of quality). But online auctions eBay, Amazon, ETSY will easily give the Chinese a head start in the range of branded items, vintage items, handmade items and various ethnic goods.

And I remembered your detailed articles about these trades. area I re-read everything again and concluded that the courses are a scam. I haven't bought anything on eBay yet. I am not from Russia, but from Kazakhstan (Almaty). But we also don’t need any extra expenses yet. I wish you good luck and stay safe in Asia.

  • It’s also nice that eBay’s attempts to Russify the interface for users from Russia and the CIS countries have begun to bear fruit. After all, the overwhelming majority of citizens of the countries of the former USSR do not have strong knowledge of foreign languages. No more than 5% of the population speak English. There are more among young people. Therefore, at least the interface is in Russian - this is a big help for online shopping on this trading platform. eBay did not follow the path of its Chinese counterpart Aliexpress, where a machine (very clumsy and incomprehensible, sometimes causing laughter) translation of product descriptions is performed. I hope that at a more advanced stage of development of artificial intelligence, high-quality machine translation from any language to any in a matter of seconds will become a reality. So far we have this (the profile of one of the sellers on eBay with a Russian interface, but an English description):
